Armor Up!

Listen, the devil works so hard to try to make you give up on your marriage by trying to keep you distracted and worried. He wants you to be so caught up with trying to fix things in your own power. He wants to clog up your mind with stressful thoughts like a list of all your problems parading nonstop in your mind. He wants to weaken your faith by keeping you so focused on your limitations and lack that you are so scattered mentally and in a perpetual state of spiritual unrest. I tell you the truth in that the weapon against the devil and the battle he waged with you in your mind is the Word of God. 🗡 God’s Word is your sword to decapitate the leviathan heads of lies, doubts, fears, and everything that tries to devour your faith. You must renew your mind in Christ every single day– no matter if it is a chapter or a few Scriptures from a chapter in your Bible. Your faith is a 🛡shield against the darts🎯 of the enemy👹who launches attacks strategically to knock you down, wear you down, leave you exhausted and feeling defenseless against his assaults against you. Whatever problem you face, find Scriptures that specifically address that topic to encourage yourself. And just so you’re not using the Word as a bandaid, start reading a little everyday. Start somewhere so that you can hear God’s voice and know Him. Fill your mind with His promises because you cannot be a warrior and a worrier at the same time. The more you renew your mind in God’s Word, the sharper your faith and your ability to distinguish between the lies of the enemy and what is in line with God’s will. Remember, “So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.” Romans 10:17 Amplified.”16 Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ” –Ephesians 6:16 Amplified.
