“Saturday Menu”

This is Day 6 in the CMBA 1/2 Blogging Marathon Challenge to post for 13 days in October.
It’s Saturday, and I want to encourage you to plan a date night with your husband/wife for this evening. Plan to feed your spouse quality time in 2 courses. If you have children, be sure to drop them off at the babysitter’s for an overnight stay.

Appetizer: “Pick a Flick”

1. Pick out two movies–one that is your favorite and the other movie– your spouse’s favorite. If you don’t know what their favorite movie is, don’t wait until the last minute to ask him/her. Flip a coin to make the selection.
2. Cover your couch with a red/burgundy micro suede or chenille throw. Why a shade of red? To incite passion, warmth and cuddling, of course!

3. Fill a large bowl with freshly popped popcorn and have sodas or sparkling water/champagne on standby for refreshment. Free refills!

4. Snuggle up next to your spouse and enjoy your film together, but don’t doze off because there’s more to come!

Main course: “You & Your Spouse”

Use a silk scarf and take turns blindfolding one another. Feed each other fresh strawberries, banana and mango slices. The more the better! Have fun savoring the different flavors and textures of the fruit, and enjoy the taste of your spouse’s kisses.

Deliberately take your time, explore, and let your meal continue to the bedroom–to your mountain of spices! Satiate one another all to the glory of God!!! Enjoy your date night and God bless!
