Last Laugh

When is the last time that you and your spouse shared a belly laugh together? You may be facing many trials in your marriage and family lives, and I know that marriage is especially hard work! But don’t let the enemy have the last laugh! Take a time-out from trying to solve problems every day.  Who said you can’t have fun with your spouse simply because you are facing unresolved issues? Maybe a good laugh will be a catalyst to quicken the time needed to solve those problems. Laughter makes our eyes sparkle and makes our faces more radiant and attractive.
Even if you’re certain your spouse cannot make you laugh, you can both watch a comedy together and laugh at someone else’s antics. Laughter softens the barriers that our rigid daily schedules can create. Laughter eases any tension between you and your spouse. Even God has a sense of humor and counsels us of the benefits of happiness:
Proverbs 17:22 “A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.”
Proverbs 15:13 ” A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.”
Go ahead and laugh today. If you’ve been down and under, it will surprise your spouse, even you as you will feel more at peace. Laughter is good for the soul! ^_^
Have a blessed day!!!
